They ship pretty quickly. The only gripe I have with their shipping is that it's signature required and I'm never home during the delivery window. I usually pick up at a UPS center.

You'll get a bunch of goodies with the upper. A hat, posters, stickers, magazine, lube.

When BCM ships it, does UPS allow you to hold the upper at a UPS center? I would prefer to skip the signature required and all the notes left on my door.
I am rarely home when they deliver either.

Yeah. You just have to call UPS and provide the tracking number. They will hold it at the nearest center/hub for pick up.

You need to show ID and package has to match name.

You can create a UPS mychoice account which will give you more options. My buddy ordered an upper from them on Sunday and he got a shipping conformation from BCM on monday. Wait until you get the tracking number and then see what you can do.

What hat? Does the upper come with a hat too?

Usually they come with a BCM black, America FDE or ODG hat.

I have all 3 from all the uppers I've bought. They use to ship magazines and stickers but with my last 2 I didn't get those.

Congrats. You won't be dissappointed. Just completed my build. Received bcm barrel, gas block, bcg, mod 0 comp last Monday, Saturday-built, Sunday-range. 100-5.56, 100-223, 100-reloads. Not one malfunction.

I have the same upper here. I bought it last year during the 'crisis' as it was about all I could find then. It's very good stuff. I paid about $425 and they mistakenly threw in a free Viltor charging handle and one of their excellent BCG's. I got a free hat, some excellent DVD's they produce and a sample of Slip 2000 EWL, the best lube available.

BCM and Daniel Defense are about as good as good gets right now.

Got my wife a BCM 16" lightweight upper for Christmas. 13" KMR hand guard with Free Mod 0 compensator.
This thing looks awesome and is VERY light.
Came with a hat, lots of stickers and a sample of lube.
Haven't shot it yet because a problems with FMK lowers though.

Glad I went with BCM.
