TRIP REPORT TO THE GUN VAULT IN MTN VIEW

    Friendly staff,

    good customer service.

lots of .223 ammo in stock! (good prices to boot)

went in yesterday to say hello to "the one" and check it out.

very nice! good to have another gun store in san jose. I will be adding another regularly frequented store to my list.

I've been in there once also a few weeks back. They had quite a stock of used 1911s and some other rifles. I'll second the remark about the very friendly staff.

It was also nice and clean inside. I'll say this again for effect: it was really clean inside. Like I was at some "normal" shop, and not an "evil" gun shop. I hope some other bay area shops take a hint from them, maybe it will help improve the image of gun folks here in the gun-hating bay area.

Sorry about the rant... I'll get off the soap-box now.

I need to go back in there as soon as they get in more AR stuff :P

thats funny, but why is it most gun stores look like the set of sanford and son?

They have a rather impressive display of 10/22s and various milsurps too

I went in there a couple of days ago inquiring about BCM uppers. They are cool guys....I recognized one of the dudes working there.....and he helped explain some stuff to me cuzz I'm a tard about rifles. I'm trying to learn...and I wasn't given the "New to AR's" treatment. The store is clean....organized...and well lit..plus a good selection of handguns and long guns already in place.....with some room to grow.

Always nice to see another shop open....rather than seeing them all close down.....+ they are OLL friendly.

I went to the "Gun Vault" Friday. It was a very well stocked clean store with freindly staff. They had OLL rifles for sale in various configurations. I am sure they will do well. AAA+++

They are on ElCamino in Mountain Veiw beween Grant and Castro.
