    Omega Rails??

Any of you guys utilizing the Omega rail system on your Cali semi-auto rifles???

If so.....how is it holding up so far....is it staying firm....any trouble affixing optics , buis's etc???

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated due to their ease of installation , light weight , and cost compared to the Lite system.

    Thanks

I have the Omega 7.0 on my 16" Stag 6.8. They just drop right in and you tighten the hex nuts. I have an Eotech and I removed my FSB so I'm not running buis, however free floating or not you generally dont want to mount optics to a rail. It can still twist, so you would want to use a riser. The rail is very solid.

I purchased the 12.0 Light FSP rail for my 5.56, It is more expensive, and I will not be doing the work to install it. I called the local gun shop and they want $75 to install it.
If you are not outraged you are not paying attention!!!

I can't believe I asked the question before....."optics on the hand rail"...

P.S.- I'm a tard about rifles in case no one knew. I should have known what I was asking was wrongly worded...oops.

75 bucks seems not too bad if they do good work.

      Thanks for the info.

I don't think with DD you would have any problems affixing buis's,FG,lights etc. I think they have the mil spec 1913 rail dimensions down due to them being a mil supplier...Probably the best 2 piece option you got..
