Dealer's sample Full Auto SCAR test rifle looks like, from my 20 second google search it's not a transferable Machine gun so you'd need a FFL License.

        Still cool.

That's what I was thinking too...why I was confused, thinking it was selling to a civi, but you needed a "demo" permit from the atf...

If the owner is not retiring his licensing the buyer needs a demo letter. If the seller is dropping his license it can be purchased without. Real factory full autos are pricey, a scar can be converted for 2$ but technically the weapon becomes a xyz17 (name of company) as i understand. Im probably wrong though lol.

                      It's a Post-86 MG.
Therefore, in order to obtain it, you need to be a FFL/SOT with a Gov/Mil/LE demonstration letter.

The Gov/Mil/LE demonstration letter is issued by a Gov/Mil/LE agency and requests you obtain specific MG on their behalf.
When the letter no longer becomes valid, then the MG listed/request on the letter must be transferred out of your inventory.

Lose your SOT status or lose the demo letter, then you must transfer out the post-86 MG.

Some manufacturers won't sell to dealers and many agencies just buy direct. A genuine SCAR will be more expensive but I don't see the value. I could slap one together for under $3k using all brand new parts. The SCAR just does not have the wow factor other guns possess. It is a great gun but there ae so many more interesting gun out there.

FEDEX dropped off this little open bolt full auto dealer sample today. 1/8 the price of the SCAR.

You must not know the pricing of transferable machine guns. Also you have to have a FFL and SOT to get that gun.

                              Very cool indeed.
Outside of a bang for your bang analysis I don't know if I would call a glorified tube with a spring inside of it cooler than a Scar.
Bust out an STG and then it's a different story to me
