Best way to increase length of pull on AR15 A2?

I'm looking for ideas to increase the length of pull on an A2 stock. I saw some extended butt plates, slip on recoil pads, stock spacers, and others. I was wondering what people thought would be the best way to achieve this. Any input is appreciated.

FWIW: I'm looking to stick with a fixed stock (to possibly go featureless and I may move to state where collapsible stocks are illegal).

Magpul makes a PRS that runs about $177. (242 on the main page, less in cart)

Damn. I was hoping to not have to spend so much. Any extra money I've had lately has been going towards ammo. I'd like to keep the ammo flow undisturbed as much as possible.

Here's some links to what I've been considering:

Rubber seems iffy to me because the screw may cause the rubber to rip leaving the stock free to fall off.

http://www.bushmaster.com/products.asp?cat=13 (extended buttplate in middle of page)

seems like it could work but can't order from the site. Also, if I'm going to spend $30 on this, I would rather get:

Shop rifle parts (2,741) at Brownells, including barrels, stocks, triggers, and bolt carriers to customize, repair, or upgrade your rifle’s performance.

But I can't find this in stock anywhere.

Use a shooting jacket. How big of a Lurch are you? The standard A2 stock is plenty long.

I run featureless with an A2, so slip-on pad if necessary.

I'm not that big; about average to small actually (5'8"). But I prefer longer LOP. The fully extended 6 position stocks feel sooooooo much better than my A2.

I also considered a slip-on pad but I would prefer to have as little recoil absorption as possible (i.e., something hard as opposed to something soft and squishy). I like to feel every movement of the gun.

look into DCM parts, there is a extention you can buy for cheap that fits between the front of the stock and rear of reciever. or install a recoil pad with aluminum interface $90 on brownells?

*edit* looks like you found the extender I was describing all ready

also iirc the choate hook bottom stock (Bushamster has them) is longer than an A2

So modify the six-position stock to be permanently fixed in the fully extended position.

Expensive but you could try a Stubbs adjustable stick similar to this one from White Oak Armory http://www.whiteoakarmament.com/xcar...roductid=17815

Have you mastered the prone position? Are you 45 degress, flat foot or knee up? Nobody that is 5-8 needs a longer pull stock. You need to be 6-6 or better to need a longer stock.
