Sks and plenty of ammo... With iron sights you are good to 200 yards , if practiced 300 is possible on an ipsc sized target.

If you're going to limit yourself to just one rifle I'll vote for the AR with a couple uppers for different purposes. I'll stay out of the DI vs piston debate though.
