Help: Geissele Trigger in PWS MK114

First, Don't flame me if I can't fully explain what's going on because I'm not sure what's happening.

I recently installed a Geissele SSA-E(2 stage trigger) in a PWS MK114. This is a gun I've just started shooting recently after sitting in my safe for a while. Took it to the range in Tracy. I was shooting as fast as I could and on the 3rd round nothing. This happened almost every time.

The only time it didn't happen was when doing failure drills going from 2 shoots to the chest and one to the head. Being a 2 stage trigger I'm wondering if I wasn't letting the trigger on all the way to reset. A couple time the gun would go into battery but the trigger wouldn't move.

However, there was one instance the gun wouldn't fire I did a tap rack and when I pulled the charging handled it didn't eject the round. The live round was still in the chamber.

There were a few instances when it looked like it tried to chamber two rounds.

I don't think I installed the trigger incorrectly and are getting lite primer strikes because by the end of the day i fired all the rounds. By the way the rounds were the Green tip 5.56.

I'm wondering if it might be the magazine with a weak spring or do I need to go to a heavier buffer to slow down the bolt carrier.

I'm a little disappointed because i've run a franken AR through multiple training classes with a lot of very fast shooting and never had an issue like this. However, I was running the stock single action trigger.

Sorry for being all over the place.

Check to see if your hammer spring is installed correctly.

The double feeds could be a mag issue.

You aren't running KNS or other non-rotational pins by any chance are you?

No. I'm not running KNS. I'll try a brand new mag. I'm going to run about another 100 rounds through it and make a better mental note of what's really happening.

I think maybe is should have gone with a single stage. I dry fired it today and did a couple reset. I don't think it's a reset issue because the it so short.

What dose the KNS pins have to do with it?

I'm having the same problem but with a stock trigger, KNS pins and a spikes buffer.

Bill Geissele does not recommend using KNS pins with any of his triggers, that's probably why he asked.

KNS pins are stupid anyway, if your pins are walking out of the receiver during use then something is wrong.

Maybe your trigger finger is too fast for your SSA trigger

Ive had that happen with my Saiga 12, i was faster than the trigger could reset. Of course im probably wrong but it didnt happen when i slowed my finger down.

Also ive fired an AR with the SSA but not ssa-e and it didnt have that problem. And me amd friend could get off some serious rapid fire with that trigger.

              Anyhow just my two cents
