Well it isn't about comps I saw on a video game rifle I will grant you that, but if you haven't noticed the majority is 1) firearm related 2) centerfire semi auto rifle related purchases.

I agree this year isn't nearly as good as past years. Anyone think it's a sign the economy is improving and retailers aren't so desperate?

With weekend sales down 11% nationally, it's the economy, stupid. It sucks and is not improving no matter how much it's "talked up".

Cheap gas didn't help either. The fundamentals are all wrong and there will be h*ll to pay down the road.
