I still won't bother with a plastic lower, but at least they are trying to make things right for the OP
Give me a call or email me. I would love to see what I can do to change your mind and make a believer out of you. We had some issues with a limited number of our early models but that is no more.

I would stack up our Phoenix2 to a metal unit any day. It really is super tough and rugged.

By the way, we sell over 100+ Polyemr80s every single day. Plus what our distributors move. We have a a sub 1% return rate. and the Phoenix2 will be even less.

Overwhelmingly the Polymer80, even the older units are solid, quality units.
I could not sell so many with a lifetime warranty and possibly stay in business if our product was not up to snuff.

There are roughly 25,000 Polymer80s out in the wild and we have a spectacular track record. And I cannot stress enough how well the new unit performs. With our superior design and now, material that we developed ourselves... It is more than good to go!

Does anyone make a carbon fiber lower that would be something!
Found one that was hydrocoated only. Bushmaster had the carbon 15 but it didn't look carbon fiber.
2024 New Year?s resolution will be no posting..

I sincerely thank you for the offer, but I will stick with aluminum, i have no need for a lower to be easier to mill and that is the only reason I see for going plastic.

A true carbon fiber lower would cost hundreds of dollars, stripped. It would be cool, but with a limited market.

Username999 first let me apologize for this experience that you have had here. I must point out that this is a G100 and is 4 generations behind. We have worked hard and are constantly improving the product.

We have since (and recently released and are shipping) developed our own Nylon blend that we have been working on for over a year.

This is the Phoenix2 unit and I can tell you that this is no longer an issue.

Here is a video of me putting all of the .50 Beowulf rounds that I own in one sitting through the Phoenix2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZS8TOiAueds

These are resistant to all chemicals FAR stronger and WILL NOT fall apart.

Please call me directly @ 707-346-0075. We always take care of our customers and I would like to discuss an offer for you to make this right.

                  my email is: loran@polymer80.com

                  Thanks!

It was nice speaking with you on the phone. I accepted your offer, and look forward to giving your receiver another chance. It won't be right away, but I will report back here on the results in the next few months. Thanks for reaching out, and supporting your product.

I don't really see the point.
