    I'm really surprised that the .243 and the .25 WSSM didn't get any votes thus far...

        will this be your first ar oll build?if so,go with the most common caliber-.223/5.56 imo.

            It will be my first "build" but I've already got the 5.56 boxed checked with my BWK...

            It's not that I don't like the .223 cartridge, I just thought there might be something better out there.

            I've been reading up on the 5.45x39mm and that looks like it might be something to consider.

            Then again, the .25 WSSM looks like a good time...

            See, this is why I posted the topic. I'm so indecisive...
