    Don't trust Prexis/weaponsguild

I finally received my barrel after over a year of false ETA's the original ETA being April 2013. Any mentions on the weaponsguild forums (prexis owned) get deleted or locked. When it arrived the barrel was hanging out of a box that was too small and weak and clearly impacted some objects damaging the crown. When I posted images they were deleted and he won't respond to emails.

    I ordered Jan 8th

When April 2013 came around I asked again for an update.

It is in the batch that should ship the first of May.
    June 9th I asked again

    It will ship this week
    June 10th 2013

July 31st I was flamed and banned from weapons guild for telling someone to wait until someone receives a barrel to order when they asked how long it takes and the mod said 3-4 months. ( I was already almost 8 months in)

I asked again for my ETA
    3rd week of Aug
    again
am scheduled to be release to return to work on 10-21-2013.

At that time I will be working of finishing a large batch of PSL barrels and yours is in this batch.
Assuming my 450$ (2 barrels) is gone I waited until July 2014 an emailed again

It finally Arrived in august and this is what I came home to he didn't even bother taping the ends of this box with heavy barrels inside.

If you do order from them don't expect it within a year of your ETA and don't expect them to fix problems.

Here's a couple of the emails

The PSL barrel deal over there was a pyramid from the start. I was in on the first batch. I got my barrel. Twice. Both were junk. He openly admitted from the beginning that he used everyones money to buy new machines instead of blanks. I guess we all just hoped he would turn those new machines on at some point and use them to make us barrels. As soon as you speak up over there, you get a lifetime ban. I did receive a full refund when he realized He couldn't shut me up. It was at a time when any talk of fraud would have stopped much $$$ from flowing his way. I'm suprised it continues at this point, honestly. My name was Heavy metal over there. Not sure if any of my posts are still in the original thread as I was banned for life. Good luck

At that point his excuse was an injury but this was already 10 months after my order and for everyone of these he had an excuse, death in wife's family, machinery failed, got the wrong blanks, power went out, reamers, blah blah.

I'm really hoping mine isn't junk after I get it re-crowned. It keeps going because they just keep deleting posts. There's no way to get the word out. Your posts are all gone. After sending Mike a screen cap of what I was banned for I was unbanned everywhere except the prexis products board. That's some customer service...

Check ak files ... Nothing good for the most part about this company or barrels. Sorry about what's going on. Total drag

"Gawd, asks a qustion, gets two good answers, denies/ still doesn't get it.

This is the kinda person that shouldn't be building things- go store bought.

I think this might be the same guy a friend of mine lo ally had same issue with. He had to get a lawyer involved basically. When he got the barrel he still had to send it off to someone else to un - ****.

thanks for the heads up. I was thinking about building a PSL but went with a 458 socom since it seemed like it was getting too hard to get the parts... I think I was even looking at these guys..

I keep seeing those PSL kits coming up on Apex lately. https://apexgunparts.com/product_inf...oducts_id/4664
I keep counseling myself not to buy it because in reality I do not have the money to blow on one.
The last batch of them costed more a few weeks ago but actually were populated with a barrel (not sure if original barrel or not).
Then there's guy whose been building AKs for a while telling me how much all these kits used to cost a couple years ago and it hurts even more.

Been waiting on my barrel since July of last year. Nothing. Asked for a refund in August and was told he would....never seen the barrel or money yet. I am not a happy camper.
