SoCal Sub 2000 HELP

Anyone know a store in southern California that has a Keltec sub 2000 for sale? I'm a girl and every store I call tries to sell me something else I know what I want and a citadel or Beretta storm is not what I want

You will pay a transfer fee with your local FFL (and, of course, sales tax and DROS fee), but Phil's prices are very good and you won't be spending $800 for a used $400 gun like the guy in Sacto wants.

I saw that on my search last year I bought a HiPoing 995 and it's a love hate relationship. It shoots good but limited on mags and trigger SUCKS. I should have bought the sub2k then but the HiPoint was cheaper and money was an issue then but now things are better but I can't find it. I did pick up a bushmaster xm10 today though

if you are considering a sub2000, you may also want to consider a su16. I think they are easier to find, featureless (can use 30rd mags if you already own them), and are just as compact.

The reason i didn't get a sub2000, is the bullet button and the 10rd magazine limit on bullet button rifles..which is a NO go for me. I also have a hipoint, and too be honest, the sub2000 has the same limitations.

The Sub2000 is a pistol caliber while the SU16 is rifle.

I do want a su16 but I really want the sub2k in glock model for the fact that I own over 30 oem G23 mags and 9 glock 19 mags plus I have over 10k rounds of 40 and 9 each. But eventually I will get a su16
Also I just got a bushmaster 308 AR rifle. I know ar15 rifle have different caliber uppers do the 308 versions have different uppers as well?

Regardless of what you own from before the ban. The State really screwed gun owners...

However, you can run 20-30 round preban 5.56 magazines in the SU-16 because its a featureless Rifle. ..

Both fold for storage.

so-cal don't know - solar tactical in livermore (see your tracy location) carries from time to time

AR10 uppers do come in different calibers. Was looking at at .243 myself.

Your thoughts are spot on. As good as the 40 S&W is as a pistol round, it really shines in a pistol caliber carbine.

Unfortunately, as you have already found, the availability of Sub 2k's extremely limited, and those in the Glock magazine configuration are even more rare. At least the 40 S&W versions are slightly more likely to be found as compared to the 9mm versions. And since you already have lots of mags and ammo - well now the waiting game begins.

I bought my first Sub 2k earlier this year used, and now I have added a second one (both in 40 S&W). Fortunately the non-Glock configuration works for me as the Sig P226 version works flawlessly with the magazines I already have for my 40 cal CZ75B.

This year I also bought an SU16-CA and it is a nice and convenient rifle. But there is something about shooting pistol caliber carbines that is so much fun that the Sub 2k's get to the range more than the SU16. Combined with the fact that the folded Sub 2k fits into a normal back pack - what's not to love?

Yes pistol ammo is very fun to shoot. I got to shoot out of a carbine.
