Sig 516xi or PWS? help! at store

I'm in gun store and they have- 10.5in barrel Sig 516xi pistol w Sig brace, PWS MK1 DGI pistol w Sig pistol brace, and PWS 7.5" piston pistol w Sig brace- all 3 are 5.56/.223. Need to make decision next 10 min since can't come back this week- which would you get and why?

Please help? about to throw down credit card, price is same on 2 of them and $400 more for piston PWS 7.5".

Which is best- Sig Piston or PWS gas or piston? reliability, quality? I so far just shoot w irons and have a pretty standard collection of rifles/handguns, this would be using my SSE for the WOW factor, which is really not like me, but when I shoulder that PWS 7.5" piston it does feel pretty darn cool. Intended use? Who the heck knows- all my guns so far are tools that I use for specific purposes but today I'm just not myself I guess and going to go for something way different.Thank you! And I have never sold a gun in my life, but if doesn't turn out to be for me, I can always get my money back by selling it I would think.

PWS!!!!! You can always change the upper to a diff Pistol upper if you get bored with the piston

Thanks for the replies. I was at the store when posted.

To dtrump- it was Sig 516xi pistol 10.5 in barrel.

So I went to the store this morning which is about 20 min drive from my house. Reason I was there was to begin DROS/SSE on X5 had shipped to them.

The people there were great and very helpful and I quickly fell in love w 5.56 AR pistols they had. At first I was focused on either Sig 516xi 10.5" w Sig brace or PWS 10.5" DGI pistol and Sig brace. I really liked the Keymod rail on PWS.

But then start talking w manager about the PWS piston w 7.5" barrel and Sig brace , keymod rail, magpul flip up irons, nibor bcg.

I don't have time to drive back until pick up my X5 in 10 days and they would only take deposit for AR pistol in person at store so I had to make a decision while there- well, didn't have to but after being gone for so long I have zero free time and just wanted to make a decision. After going back and forth for 45 min on either the DGI PWS w 10.5" barrel or piston PWS w 7.5" barrel and nibor bcg, I decided to go w the PWS piston 7.5" w Sig brace.

Why PWS? I really liked the Keymod rail, fact had Wylde chamber, nibor BCG, magpul buis and just felt really good ergos wise.

This may sound absurd, but when looked in mirror and shouldered PWS DI 10.5", it didn't look THAT much different than any other regular AR15 as far as length. All my current AR15s are gas, but when I held that PWS piston 7.5" up , even though I'm 6'6", it felt comfortable and plan to put something like an Aimpoint micro T-1 on it. Figured might as well do something different and unique while I can.

For those of you who have shot or are familiar w the PWS, did I make the right choice as far as going piston? Like said, yes, 7.5" barrel is obviously very short but the ergos felt really good to me. And can always buy a 10.5" upper as well to switch it up. Certainly not needed and first gun eer bought cause of the WOW factor, no real practical use, but when shouldered that 7.5"PWS piston, it flet really nice. Figured last SSE I'd go for something super exotic. Not in my nature, I strictly shoot irons on my rifles and do have a SCAR 17, but this thing just seemed so out of this world (or state) while at store I just threw cc down. I have never sold a gun, but if just not for me I'm sure I can least get my money back on it down the road.
