    BRD defined

Two months ago, wouldn't have an OLL within a mile of my house. Today:

    TWO LMT MRP CQB

Height of 4X Acog allows use of sights -- but fugs eye relief because must be mounted ahead of LMT rear sight.

Do you guys use the Acog with NO sights or with only flip up BUIS?

This mount should help for eye relief:

If you absolutely need a BUIS, you can mount it forward of the ACOG like the canadians do with their elcans.

Does anyone have a pic in their photobucket of the BUIS mounted AHEAD of the ACOG?

Not too good of a picture but you can see the fixed BUIS mounted ahead of the Elcan on the guy on the left's C8.

See it. Wouldn't work with these GIANT LMT rear sights but a nice GG&G flip up would be good.

It seems like from the on set of infection to full blown BRD is only a couple of days. I have seen cases that have progressed to full BRD in minutes.

You're using a carbine stock. Shorten it down and move your optic forward, then put the BUIS underneath.

I was just looking at pics of BUIS mounted forward a couple days ago... wish I could find them now for you. I can't remember what I was searching when I found them. Matechs, mostly.

Very nice rifles. How do you like the Leupold CQT? I have been looking into them but I don't see them around too much. The Leupold seems like a good option instead of an Aimpoint and magnifier (cheaper and less mounts to buy).

Interested in one of these as well. Gonna probably keep my Aimpoint M4 , but selling the magnifier and swivel mount if I can ever get off my *** and list it.

It's very bright, very clear -- it's basically the 1.1-5 MRT scope in an armored "tactical" body. Very SHARP optic but it is NOT a parallax free red dot, just a tactical scope. Very rugged. Very HIGH mount. Cheek piece called for, but if your stock is set up right it ROCKS.
