  • Interesting M1 Garand srock set....

    O.K. I know I am probably going to get some flak for this because I consider myself on the conservative old school side of things, but I always thought this was neat:



    Add an Amega ranges scout mount and a good optic (no Ben I am not giving up on iron sights ) and you have a pretty neat little rifle.

    I don't think that's bad at all, the M14 is considered more accurate with the synthetic stock. I always wondered why there wasn't a synthetic option for the M1.

      Just say NO!

      Well, if you keep the original wood furniture (to change back to
      original configuration) no harm's done.
      You could Duracoat out the new synthetic also. Could be fun!

            from what ive read it has a horrible fit but the bell/carson is pretty nice at a few times the price... something about you get what you pay for...
