    Trigger bow preference

I'm about to order a geissele trigger for my noveske build. I have it narrowed down to the ssa with the standard curved trigger and the sdc with the flat trigger. What do you guys prefer and why?

i prefer a curved trigger in my rifles just for familiarity from rifle to rifle

some say a flat trigger of the same weight may feel slightly lighter

It's all about personal preference, and I tried a flat trigger once, didn't like it. Even if the triggers on my rifles aren't all the same(some are single, some 2 stage, different curvatures for the trigger, etc.) the one time I tried a flat trigger it seemed like my finger was all over the place from shot to shot. I could probably get used to it, but if I don't have to deal with it then I don't see why I should bother.

Love the Flat Bow! (I will never go back in an AR Platform) To Me, it makes the Trigger feel about a pound less than it is. I also like the feel of my Finger feeling the same no matter were I place it at on the Trigger.

I went ahead and ordered the super dynamic combat straight from geissele, free priority shipping and a free swag bag. Who doesn't like free swag!

I prefer flat. I have no proof, but feel the flat trigger prevents undesireable finger influence on point of aim compared to the standard curved. Notice many 1911 triggers are flat.

I would think the flat would be great if you pull at the very bottom for a lighter feel. Whereas tol much curve can put you in the middle lr even a bit high on it. This thread reminds me i realllly need a trigger for my 17s, kinda wishing someone made a flat one.

I have both Geissele's the SSA/SSA-E and SD-C. I like them all. I use the SD-C on my PWS MK 2(.308) and it works awesome.

I have to say that if I built another precision gun I might go for the SD-E, because it is really nice being able to use the bottom of the flat blade for groups.

Either way I don't think you can go wrong OP, but it might be worth trying out first if you can.

They make nice triggers.. CS is very cool too. I completely acted like a dick and bent a spring, on accident. Called to inquire about replacement, they took my info and insisted on just sending them, no charge. They even sent both Springs.
