Where to find ar10 LPK parts?

I purchased an AR10 rifle kit from PSA and a 80% lower from custom built arms. Well apparently the LPK that came with the rifle kit uses PSA proprietary parts so now i need that screw that holds the bolt catch as well as DPMS take down pins. The pins are easy enough to get from Midway but that little screw seems to be out of stock everywhere and i dont feel like spending $70 on a new LPK but it seems like that might be my only option.

Does anyone have an idea where i might be able to find these parts locally?

    Thank you for any help.

The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)"

      PSA.
I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong...

My lower used a roll pin instead of the screw, so I might have one in my parts bin. I will check later when I get home from work. If i do it's yours OP.

Try Fulton armory, they sell the little parts individually.

Ok, first and foremost you need to know if you have an actual AR-10 receiver (Armalite pattern) or LR-308 (DPMS pattern) cause it will determine exactly which parts you use.

Most 308 AR's on the west coast are LR-308 (DPMS pattern)

                  There is a difference
"Then there are sheepdogs. The sheepdogs are the bastions of safety. The sheepdog lives solely to protect the flock and confront the wolf. They live for the opportunity to be called to duty to protect the innocent. The sheepdog has fangs and the propensity for violence but hopes that he will not have to resort to it. However, he lives for that day when he will be able to use his warrior skills and mindset to keep the wolf from harming the sheep."

As a point of clarification, PSA doesn't use proprietary parts. The PA10 LPKs PSA sells are meant to be used the PSA PA10 lower which uses AR15 internals rather than a DPMS or Armalite pattern LPK. If you bought a PA10 rifle kit, the assumption was you were using a PA10 receiver, not an LR308, AR10 etc. receiver.

As far as the OP's issue, I second trying Fulton Armory. They carry all kinds of small items. Also could be worth it to call online retailers even if they don't have the item you are looking for on their e-store sometimes they are willing to make a deal over the phone.

No kidding! They do, however, have a LPK with a bullet button that they sell to CA. The individual parts that the OP needs are not restricted.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by proprietary parts but the take down and pivot pins are unique to PSA; they are not DPMS 308 sized pins. DPMS 308 LPKs also uses AR15 parts with a few exceptions (the pins and bolt catch).

If it the pivot pins are proprietary that's news to me. I was under the impression the main differences was the set screw for the bolt catch pin on the LR308 vs. roll pin on the PA10.

On both my LR308, the bolt catch also use that tiny Allen wrench screw, unlike an AR15 with a roll pin, I don't believe that is proprietary PSA.
