    mags for 300 blk

i just finished my 300 blk build and was looking into mags, i know they use the 5.56 mags but i was look to get something a little different so i don't get calibers confused with the mags, so i found the fab defense ultimag that is 2 mags clamped together at the floor plate, so my questions is has anyone used one of these setups with the fab defense mags and how do they work?
5.56: reach out and touch someone.
458 SOCOM: reach out and knock someone down.

OP-Those fab defense couplers are a great find. Perfect so you can actually use mag pouches that ate usually much too deep to hold standard 10rd mags.

They are (2) 10 round magazines that is attached together with a block. There is a screw so you can remove it. Just imagine (2) 10 round pmags and put it together in the bottom with duct tape. Functioned just fine last time we used it. Nothing special.
For the 300BLK, I just mark a magazine "300BLK." Some have used the rubber band with 300BLK markings on it like this one.

Have you considered using different colors or something like that? I have a 5.45 AR and have to be careful with mags.

I did this to my mags. I don't want me or anyone I'm shooting with grab the wrong mag. Not saying it can't happen but hopefully will help

I put some stickers on it and sprayed over them. Already removed the stickers on the 10/20 mag.

Stickers removed on both. With the 10 rounder just did the very bottom part

Just a dab of colored paint should be enough to differentiate them. Cheap as well.

I use 10/20 m3 pmags for 300blk and 10/30 for 5.56 Also only shoot one at a time and lock up all my 300blk ammo when done shooting incase someone loads it in their 5.56.

I've also seen people used colored tape

Get some colored electrical tape and rap a band around the mag to identify quickly....spray paint, different color followers etc etc

You could just look at the rounds... Kinda hard to mistake 300blk for 556/223 IMHO.
