    If you own a AR rifle lower and possess a short barrel (pistol) AR upper, then this is constructive possession of a SBR. [PC 17170(e)]

      Only do this if one of the following are true:

      1) You already own an AR pistol, making it plausible the new upper is for your existing pistol
      2) You DO NOT own an AR longgun lower or complete AR longgun, as having an AR pistol upper and only an AR longgun lower is constructive possession of an SBR under both federal and CA law even if never assembled as one
