    Eotech question

I just purchased a Eotech sight for my AR and am a little confused as to sight the gun in. A few questions I have are
    1) do I have to have a front sight on the rifle to sight in the Eotech and
    2) I have heard that with the sight being dead on you can move your head around and the sight will follow... In a opposite direction, yet still be accurate on a target. Can anyone give me some good info as to sighting in the sight if it is as simple as the scope on your deer rifle or is there a little more to it?

You do not need a front sight

As long as you can see the reticle , that's where your point of impact will be

You don't need other sights to sight it in.

If you can see your reticle then that's where the bullet will go. No matter what angle your vision is looking.

Minor questions... Given the time I will figure it out on my own. A few opinions make it that much quicker. People spend more on a car they know nothing about. I got this

If you already have iron sights mounted and zeroed on the rifle, you can zero your Eotech by matching those iron sights. This is call co-witnessing where your iron sights and Eotech witness to each other. It'll save you some time and ammo at the range.

Once you get to the range, you can do final adjustments and confirmation of the Eotech by shooting.
