I ordered a lower from AR15brick.com online. Great deal for a forged lower blemish and my FFL called me to come do the paperwork. When I got down there, the FFL could not find the manufacturer (AR15Brick dba Range Tool Company) on the DOJ website. There was no phone number on company website so I gave them a email to see who they were listed under the DOJ website as. Turns out they are not listed but the owner says they were, Also turns out their federal FFL expires 0n 9/1/2014. Uh oh.........The owner told me that he makes lowers for many big companies and ships to California a lot. Well now my FFL has to fax a copy of their federal licence to the CA DOJ to get it on the list so I can get it transferred. I am not even in my DROS period until this happens. So beware all of you. their prices are amazing and shipping is fast and the lower looks great. But their California compliance is lacking. I hope I get my lower someday.
