    Carlson Tac Comp

    I'm fairly sure I know the answer to this, but has anyone looked into the legality of the Carlson Tac Comp on a pistol/rifle in CA? Allegedly the open end makes it unlikely to pass any CA DOJ test, but I am unable to find an official ruling.

    I thought it looked like a good less expensive alternative to the Flaming Pig.

    Are you asking about using this on a featureless rifle? What's the concern? I've been looking into the same comp.

      Any muzzle device is legal on a fixed magazine rifle or pistol.

      For a featureless rifle it would not be advisable to run one.
