    Anderson 24" Upper- superb accuracy

I purchased an Anderson upper with a 24" stainless fluted bull barrel in .556. I first shot it at 25 yards and sighted in a few inches low. But.....it kept shooting thru the same hole! Now this is not match ammo. It's Federal military ball 55 gr. stuff.
Went to the 100 yard range and she was grouping 5 shots in about a quarter!!
I have never been an AR guy per say, but this is some pretty good accuracy from bulk ammo. The barrel twist is 1:8.5. Guess I'll have to try ome 62 grain stuff.
I'm very impressed. I purchased at Alquist Arms in Turlock, CA.

Wow, looks like you found a really good one. It's especially nice that it likes the cheap stuff so much. Congrats!

Please post up a picture or two.

I have a 24" bull barrel upper from Red X arms, I think just the upper weighs more then my 24" oct barrel model 92 lever gun
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

How much? I got a PRS stock and an aero lower that needs some long range upper heat!
