    my first gun/build

took me a while to build what i wanted due to being a college student and other hobbies. i did not grow up in a house of gun advocates simply because i was raised by a single mother. so when i turned 21 i finally had the opportunity to build an ar15 like i have been wanting to for years. did my research and decided to make an ar15 for longer range. this is what i ended up with.

    lower
    -spikes lower
-spikes enhanced nickel boron trigger group (changing to a cmc flat trigger, currently in the mail)
    -ambi safety
-kns anti rotating pins (free so i threw them on)
    -ergo grip
    -spikes h2 buffer
    -ACS butt stock

    upper
    -spikes upper
-spikes nickel boron bolt carrier group
-20" .223 wylde white oak armament sdm barrel
-midwest industries gen 2 ss free float 15"
    -nikon 4-12x40 scope
    -mod 4 charging handle
-Yankee Hill Machine Flash Hider Phantom 5C2

Let me know what you think.

          Nicely done congrats.

Sight in your scope at 25-50m first to make it on paper then move on to 100m and so on. I remember the first time I sighted my scope at 100m. Took forever to get it on paper. But once it was on paper, another 5-6 shots with some turning of the turrets then it was all bullseye with 1-2" groupings.

              Have fun!

Looks good....but in those pics it looks like the scope placement prevents the rear sight from being used.
Can't flip up the sight with the scope in the way.

Obama ended the gun control debate when he decided to arm the Syrian rebels with fully automatic machine guns and rocket launchers. He proved people need guns to protect themselves from tyranny. Did he give the rebels background checks before giving them real assault weapons?

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.
