    Loose tube on gas block

Long story short: I switched over to a low-profile gas block so I could put a free-float quad rail on. I noticed when I got the tube pinned in place (damn tricky) that it has a very minute amount of movement to it. Pin is all the way through clear, but the gas tube is still slightly loose. Is this a problem or should I be ok with it?

I've found that some gas tubes fit differently in certain gas blocks than in others. As long as the the gas tube roll pin is set in place, I don't believe you should have any issues.

that is optimal. If it is tight, then that means it is pinching somewhere (tube misaligned with the receiver or barrel nut). In other words, if it is slightly loose, it can find center when the gas key comes up to the gas tube.

      Pinched/tight = bad/misaligned components

      Slight play = good/aligned components
