    Enhanced cali-legal LPK?

Ok, so I picked up my lower. (stoked!)

    Here's my questions:

    1. What is the most economical way to buy a LPK that has the following:

    -ambi-safety
    -Improved Mil-spec trigger
    -Cali bullet-button

    2. Do I buy one of PSA's cali-kits that comes with a bullet button, and then just toss the safety and stock trigger into an extra parts bin?(I'm not looking to put a Gisselle/etc trigger in, but I would like something a bit better than stock.)

    Thanks!

As for an upper, I think I'm going to go with a PSA daily-deal blem setup. Not in a hurry though. I think I have to decide if I want to go with an A2 upper/Moe handguard again or with a Low-pro gas block and lightweight aluminum free-float rail.

Spikes tactical has an enhanced LPK with ambi safety, upgraded trigger, billet trigger guard, ergo grip, kns anti rotation pins, and it comes with spiral roll pins which are a plus. Also the trigger and hammer is nickel boron coated. Throw in a raddlock and your gtg.

I bought the LPK from Brownells and got the ALG QMS trigger thrown in.

It might be easier to find a regular (non-CA) lpk setup that fits your needs then buy a mag lock separately.

            That's a very good point.

Thanks for the info! I'll check out the prices on that setup.

Bought the LPK from PSA. Then went on eBAY and bought the bullet button for $5. I don't get how some can sell them for $15 - $20 +.

Sorry, I doubt you bought a "bullet button" on ebay for $5. You either bought a magazine lock or an outright counterfeit. "Bullet Button" is a trade name and owned by a member here who developed it. If you an inferior product from off ebay, don't complain if it doesn't work at some point and realize that you saved yourself a few bucks by not supporting the guy(s) (It was really both Radd and Prince50 who both developed their own mag locks at the same time after Prince50 had already developed the P50 lock) who developed it and is largely responsible for the CA OLL movement exploding. If everyone acted like you, there would be no reason for anyone to develop anything for the CA firearms market. Good going!

I've seen a few companies offer LPKs without PGs and FCGs. So, I'd get one of those, the FCG you want, an ambi safety, PG and the mag lock of your choice.

I JUST got this in UPS today from Brownells
Shop rifle parts (2,717) at Brownells, including barrels, stocks, triggers, and bolt carriers to customize, repair, or upgrade your rifle’s performance.

and ordered an ambi safety while I was there. Came out to over $100 w/ ship but got $20 off with promo code 2offwel2014 I see the current one is $25 with $150 order and that is G2T. Throw in the BB and a few other items for the build you should hit the $150 mark
