So Cal Gunstore to Browse AK 47?

I recently shot my Friends AK47. I enjoyed it so much that I'd like to add one to my own collection. I have been doing my research on the interwebs and I'm at the point where I would like to put my hands on on the merchandise.

I would like to visit a Bricks n Mortar shop that stocks a decent variety of AK variant rifles and has some knowledgeable folks to talk to.

I live in North Los Angeles County (San Fernando Valley). I'd be willing to drive from Ventura Cnty in the north, to as far south as O.C and East into San Bernadino.....

Can anyone direct me to Likely Establishment?

Gun Effects had some Arsenal SAM-7 milled AKs (fixed, side folding, and under folding) the last time I was there. Same with Rifle Gear.

Guns Direct in Burbank always has different models of AK's in stock and are priced pretty well compared to other shops in the area. They are also pretty cool in there and will take their time to address any question you may have. They can also order guns for you if they dont have one you may want

OP, AKs are never going to be as easy to find as ARs, and right now it will be even harder finding any in stock because Obama signed sanctions against Russian AKs which has scared people into panic buying all types of AKs (not just Russian) meaning prices are higher and theres less available (these issues are mostly only applied to local gun stores, online AK prices have already stabilized and demand has calmed down)

Of the last 4 shops I went to (faith Armory, Turners, Big 5 and The Shootist) only Faith Armory and the Shootist had any AKs and each only had one (a WASR at The Shootist and a Yugo N-Pap at Faith Armory).

Unless you are familiar with the AK platform, itll be very hard to tell differences based on just quick fingering (lol) of the guns
