A rep backed that claim to me. I don't see how it could be that light. Just the hardware on a MI rail must weigh a couple oz.

Can anyone confirm this? if true, i'm buyin' one. MI rail is 11+ oz!

I read that just the trax 1 assembly weighs under 4 oz, is that possible? Was I being quoted the weight minus the barrel clamp and hardware? I want a really light weight handguard

it can be. i was surprised that the Trax 1 was thin and light.

eh i just cant justify spending 270 for the krebs rail or whatever it costs. if i was going to spend that much, id get TWS and have a full flat top with flip up buis and no FSB.

It's 160..... and it's a lot better than anything else in similar class.
I have one and it's nearly weightless.
