    Ak muzzle thread question

I have a pap m92 and I would like to put an aac brakeout 2.0 on it. The BO2 has a 5/8-24 thread pattern and I think the pap has a LH metric 26x1.5 thread on it. So my question would be; would it be better to have the barrel re-threaded to suit my needs (if that can even be done) or what if any adapter is there that would allow me to mount the device on there.

    Thanks....

I'm pretty sure you cant re-thread the barrel because you wont be able to cut it any shorter. Only option is to use an adapter.

Found these in a quick google search

Thread size: M26x1.5 LH ->5/8-24 RH Overall Length: 1.700 inches Length of body: 1.160 inches This adapter is intended to adapt M26x1.5 LH muzzles with 5/8-24 RH muzzle devices. Made from top quality US steel and finished in black oxide.

Thanks, I searched on google for a good 30 minutes and came up with crap and candy. Now to see if my barrel threads are concentric with the bore and I'm good to go....
