YHM Phantom Compensator/Muzzle Brake on an AK

So I have the YHM Phantom Compensator on both my SU-16CA and my AR, and I love it.So much, that I want one for my AK. But, YHM doesn't make a Phantom Compensator for the AK, so I'm wondering if I could buy the AR version, rethread it to 1x14mm LH threads and drill out the front to accomidate the larger 7.62 mm bullet. I know nothing about machining, so i don't even know if this would be feasible, possible, stupid , or anything else.

EDIT: I guess since my AK has a fixed magazine, I could just get the flash hider version that YHM makes for the AK and not waste my time....

Hey addax i see you carry the JTac47L brake for the Ak. Whats your experience with it? Does it work or is it just like the tapco AK74 'style' brake.

It works better than the Tapco 74 style brake.

The Tapco 74 style brake is ok, but the Jtac47 is a step above this, and the FSC47 is a step above the Jtac47.

I have also tested the FSC47 in full auto when I visited PWS in Idaho, it works much like the FSC556.
