Good day at the range today...

    Well, a better day

Today I went to the range again for fine tuning the scope that's currently mounted on our ASA M4A3. Even though we had crosswinds of 14.7 mph at times I think it was a good day. As you can see, best I shot today was a 1" group at 50yd. and barely a 2" group at 100yd. I used Federal and Winchester, both FMJ in 55gr.

      Looking good!
Nice to see real results instead of .5moa with PMC on a CHF 14.5in barrel claims

        Thanks guys, I appreciate it.

Yes, those are real results, I'm not perfect

That's an older picture my wife took of me.

        Here's the result:

        30m range, Federal FMJ 55gr.

I appreciate real results and honest results. I love to see someone claim a .5 group and then claim the hole 1 inch away was a flier I like seeing a group from a sand bag or tripod rest rather than a clamp rest which is simply the shooter pulling the trigger. Nice job and congrats.
CALGUNS DICTIONARY "FLIER": when a shooter wants to turn a 1 inch group to a half inch group because he flinched.

            Thank you, I appreciate that.

My favorite kind of people are those that always blame the equipment. Yes, there are material failures out there, but seriously, all my gear is more accurate than I am. And if something is broken go fix it and try it again.

I used the scope simply to see what I can do. I won't keep it on much longer, since it's not a hunting rifle. Either I leave the iron sights on or I'll get an EoTech. Not sure right now...

I used a FAB Defense bi-pod for both of the above shooting.
