    Admittedly I dont know why the Yugo model is more desirable than a norinco, but both share crummy sights and the AK is traditionally not thought of a " Riflemans" rifle .



    Still I would look at many other rifles before the AK .

      About a month before Sandyhook I traded my Bulgarian AK-74 built on a NDS receiver with original barrel, like 6 Mags and about 500 rds of surplus ammo for a SA Loaded 1911. Probably the best trade I have made in my eyes, and Im sure the guy who got my 74 thought the same thing. In other words it is up to you. Would you be happy without the 1911, and instead having that rifle? For me, I already had a regular AK and wanted a 1911 so I was stoked. But ultimately it is up to you. If I was the guy with the AK I would expect to have to sweeten the deal with Cash or extras
