    AK parts kit question

What is a parts kit that are compatible for the NODAK EZ receiver? I just want to make it simple and not have to drill anything if possible. Thanks.

Directly from their website " Fits all AKM 7.62x39 fixed stock parts kits
(Russian, Romanian, Polish, Hungarian, East German, Bulgarian, Egyptian)"
This is for the NDS-1 EZ.

No kit will line up 100% perfect with pre-drilled receivers.
You WILL have to drill out the holes a little bit to get the rivets to fit.

That means you will have lots of pressing and drilling to do.

Here is the kit that will take the least amount or work to complete with a Nodak EZ receiver:

+111111 I bought pre-drilled (front/rear trunnion holes) twice. Big mistake. Never lines up properly, ended up trashing them. Get it without the holes.

My very first build was a fixed stock Polish kit on a Nodak EZ, because I didn't have a clue. The holes lined up exactly perfectly. I must have been simply lucky.

In my experience of perhaps 40-50 polish AKM builds, several holes will line up well enough to fit a rivet, but perhaps 1/3 to 1/2 of them will need to be moved over perhaps 1/3 of the hole diameter for the rivets to fit.

Just got done building my ak. EVERY single part had to be hand fit pretty much. I had to file things down, make holes fit, etc...lots of work but really worth it at the end.
