Who here has accumulated enough spare parts to build an extra rifle?

I'm getting there - I basically have a whole Lower Parts kit and all the collapsible stock components just from extra parts, but I still have a ways to go.

Just curious who all has built a rifle just from spare parts?

I've built a few of them that way

It usually starts with finding a great deal on a barrel, or a stripped upper... or a big sack of used parts.

I need a barrel and gas block for an A2. I have a few 14.5's with extended breaks, but nothing rifle length which the rest of my parts are. I even have a completed lower sitting in a pile somewhere...

I do! I sold off a bunch of stuff otherwise I would have enough for a few rifles!
But as of now just enough for one bad to the bone rifle.
