Sounds like a good trip, hope you have fun. You should call (if you can get through to them) and see if they will give you a tour, some smaller shops are very accommodating. I know people on other forums that have stopped by Nighthawk Custom and Wilson Combat. Who knows, right? Also, I'd like to hear what you're impression of Grants Pass, OR will be. It's funny because I was on Craig's list last night seeing what rent is like up there. The furthest north I've been is Santa Cruz.

Had a friend try when he was up there. They do don't tours. They told him they were working on a new place where you could drop by but not at the moment. That was about 3 months ago so YMMV.

I've been going up there for about 20 years, not sure where in GP their factory may be - might actually be next door in Merlin. I was told it's down Monument or Crow, maybe Galice?

If you've not been in the area before the places to hit for guns are mostly on Crater Lake Highway in Medford (Good Guy Guns, Sportsmans Wherehouse, a few other small shops) and Valley Pawn on Central in town. Medford is about 40 miles south of GP, Crater Lake is a main drag intersecting it. Valley Pawn has more guns, especially older stuff, than most CA gun stores, it would be easy to go broke there. There's a Cabelas in Eugene and what I'm told is the best gun store is in Cottage Grove on Rte 5 - NFA, lots of fun stuff.

They respond fast to messages on Facebook. Ask, it can't hurt, plus they have a lot of beautiful girls working for them !

I second the suggestion of Sonic Boom to call ahead. A few years back I was going to be out on the coast visiting relatives and stopping in Paso Robles along the way. I called up Weatherby and was able to organize a tour of their whole place! It was fantastic! Seeing their gun smithing section as well as custom made test firing range was something else.

Thanks guys. I sent an email, they don't tour and don't have a storefront yet.
