I like it. Looks like it would work a lot like the Ferfrans with the very wanted benefit of using whatever muzzle device you want. Might want an attachment method more similar to the Ferfrans CRD instead of the straight up thread on/thread off. I could see myself getting one in the future for the right price. Not sure if I would pay the current price. Not saying it's not worth that price, but it's more than I personally would pay for it. It would be nice to see the adapter for sale with out the blast shield, if that would mitigate the price point. I'd buy several adapters and transfer the blast shield to other rifles.

I have never used the Ferfrans, but I discovered the AAC blast shield as a result of the Ferfrans thread here on CGN.

I understand the price being a turn off. Totally.

Titanium, so it wan't even a noticeable weight on the gun. I have full on Titanium suppressors that feel like nothing on guns.

Oops. Didn't notice it was titanium. Pricey but sounds more worth it.

Slapping an upper onto a lower is not "building" an AR-15.

Technique, thanks for sharing. What's your opinion on using the battlecomp, a1, stand alone, as far as felt recoil? Any chance they are going to make it for a Fn-Fal threading?

It all felt pretty much the same. Some gave more flash than others-
I have 2 rear mounts for mine. One is the universal, the other is a QD mount that mounts both the CR-X1 and my Gemtech suppressor.
So, it's totally possible more mounts will be available.
