    7.63x39 Barrel

Where's a good place to buy 7.62x39 ar15 barrels? I haven't seen much selection so far(midway, brownells, etc.). How long does it take to get parts from Model One? They don't show stock so I'm assuming not fast.

Cobratacsystems.com has some. I can't speak to their quality however as I have never used them (barrels). Have purchased other items from them that I am happy with

I like the one that I bought from SOTA for my build. It is 16" phosphor finished carbine.

          I bought this:

https://www.rockcityarms.com/ar-15-barrels/762-Barrel - very good barrel for the price, the mag phos finish was really well done, everything else was flawless, plus $6 fixed rate shipping so I ordered other parts from them too. Prices very reasonable.

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/Vie...Item=417729684 - This is a pistol barrel I bought that is Duracoated. The price is probably one of the lowest priced out there, the Duracoat gave it a nice finish, although I think it should be thicker. This is a favorite barrel of mine, and is super accurate and consistent (for its class), my groups are very tight with this barrel, always amazes me.

Alpha Shooting Sports also has a bunch of different sizes including Pistol sizes and 14.5, which is not easy to find: http://www.shop.ar15hardware.com/762x39_c39.htm - they are in Socal/OC and customers can pick up.

Another member has been trying to sell his for a while, check out the for sale section. Try and score a deal. I got mine from SOTA, but I am still not finished with that build. The finish on it is not very nice, but other members here are happy with their barrels and the price is right.

I sent back the ARD barrel that was suppose to be Nitrided and bought a real salt bath nitride barrel from Franklin Armory. Big difference in appearance and feel

I like the SOTA's I have. I went with the SS and am very happy. My friend went with Phos and wished he went SS - feel, looks and a noticeable difference in recoil
