          There isn't. Not everyone's "All around" is the same. It's like asking "what are the best all around shoes if you could only wear one pair?" It makes a big difference if you're an olympic runner, a professional mountaineer..... etc.

                  Considering the hunting and bear aspect, I will say something in .308. I would then say the Siaga in .308 since we're in CA.

                      Any Saiga .30 cal. The 308 packs more punch at extended ranges, but the 39 Russian has (for me) very little felt recoil.
