      I concur.

The VEPR is more reliable and has better fit & finish.
The Saiga is more common due to being released first, which also allowed more aftermarket magazines to be available that cost less than VEPR magazines.

If the price does stay at $799, I think it's only a matter of time before more accessories are available for the V-12.

update federal bird shot cycles fine just like the spartan 00 buck. I think the Winchester universal is some really crappy loads. I am going to try to cycle that Winchester stuff through my remy 1100 to see if it cycles.

ok so the remy 1100 cycles the Winchester bird shot just fine.... Next i guess i will try to shoot 200-300 rds to see if she smooths out a little and try the Winchester in the vepr again.

The only problem with the Vepr 12 is the price of the magazines. If you want it to be reliable and carry more than 5 rounds it’s gong to be expensive. The best deal I found for the 8rd factory mags was $259 for 4.

You can save some money and buy the 10rd SGM mags and they might work if you’re really lucky.

Even with the expensive accessories it’s worth it. Buy it!
