    seekins vs spikes

I have a spikes tactical build with a 14.5 barrel and pinned dynacomp and it currently has a 13" BAR rail on it but i am debating on swapping it out for a 15" seekins rail. I know they are pretty similar rails does anyone have any input on seekins?

They're the same rail. Spikes makes them both. The BAR rails are fatter, I like the SAR rail myself.

I think you meant to say that Seekins makes them both. I use MCSR forends on several builds, but all their stuff is good.

Correct. Had a 13 in BAR rail but it felt like I was holding a brick. Would work nicely for a can though.

I agree with nealo, the sar rail is a way better choice. The bar rail is very big but if your a guy with some big ol hands might be a better choice.
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms are laws of such a nature. They disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes.... Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." - Thomas Jefferson (quoting 18th century criminologist Cesare Beccaria)"

Spikes doesn't actually make anything, do they? They just rebrand stuff from tier 1 manufacturers. I think their advantage is that they are a known quantity - you are always getting decent, quality kit from them if you don't have a reliable local source. But it's all the same stuff from Cerro, Aero, and the other manufacturers.
