Simialr concept to the thread of the same name in in the handgun thread but not: for rifles.
I just bought my first bullet button rifle... a FN-15 by FNH with a 20" 1:7 twist chrome lined mil-spec barrel. I just mounted an old ACOG TA01 4x32 scope on it.
Lots of fancy high end AR's out there but I dont know that they do the job any better or more importantly more reliably than a basic mil-spec AR15.
I kinda like box stock reliability and durability.
