So I recently purchased a Samson Evolution free float hand guard and it arrived without a thermal bushing. Baffled I called Samson. The man who answered the phone politely listened while I explained and then without even asking for any proof of purchase (or anything else for that matter) sent me the missing part with two day shipping. The whole conversation lasted only about five minutes. So moral of the story is they are a great company with even better customer support. They earned my repeat business.

I like their rails. I am considering buying one as well. Good to know they are a stand up company. Thanks for sharing.
I actually had a similar experience with Geissele , tried to order new spring because I honestly lost them, they said "no way" and sent me new ones.Last edited by REDdawn6; 04-23-2014, 1:14 PM.sigpic -

You paid hundreds of $ for a rail.
There was a missing part.
You called, they said they will send it.
I don't mean to be rude, but this is supposed to be special?
Did he apologize for the hassle?Comment

I can tell you've never urn a small business. Nothing works 100% of the time for anyone: what matters is how you/they take care of things when it goes wrong. You'd be surprised how many small businesses make it your fault they made a mistake and expect you to bear the burden and costs for them making up for it. And large companies do it too—because as an individual, you are less important to them—a grain of sand on the beach. Samson stands apart and above in that respect.Benefactor Life Member NRA, Life Member CRPA, CGN Contributor, US Army Veteran, Black Ribbon in Memoriam for the deceased 2nd Amendment

Well sir you might have missed my point, which is the price point.
It's the norm for companies that offer discounted pricing to have a lower standard of customer service. It *should* be the norm for companies that offer products at premium level pricing to have a high service standard.
I didn't mean to say that to insult the OP or those that agreed, to cause offense, nor to single out Samson (which appears to offer some very nice products), but simply to say it should be no big deal, that's the minimum remedy to be expected, especially that the wrong part and some hassle was already done.
As a side note since you did mention that you think I've "never run a small business" ... that is very incorrect.Comment
