I believe you because I don't think you have any motivation to make up crap. Last year we were facing some pretty tough bills that might have passed. I think LaRue was trying to say that with the potential ban and the 12mo lead time by the time your rifle is done it would be illegal in CA therefore they cannot ship/sell to you.

What Does it feel like to be wrong all the time?

        Note the dates
I cancelled my 18 obr with them (directly) from 2012 when 16s were ready.

        Swag went to my home
Rifle went to riflegear and transfer was, as always, no hassle.

That makes sense. Obviously LaRue didn't want to have a boat load of phantom orders in their books and had to deal with order cancellations later.

Wasn't wrong. I just had bad timing when I tried to pick one up. Either way, 2.5 year back log is insane lol.

I was waitlisted for a year.. they were willing to sell (I ordered the day after the Connecticut incident)... but I later discovered JP and told Larue to suck it.. overpriced, overweight, over-attituded. No regrets.

So if I'm seeing this correctly, you ordered your rifle in January, and got it in February? Like i said, if this is the case, I'll put one in right now

Yeah but it was for a 16" obr
Call and speak with them maybe tslk with juli shes the go to and really knowledgeable. But she seems suuuper busy so shes short n sweet on the conversations

I cancelled my 18 becuase mark posted in the larue forum they are having trouble getting people to return calls (I assume credit card updates and ffl info) so they had a surplus of sorts. So I called cancelled the 18 and went on site and ordered a 16

Best bang for the buck precision factory AR made today. Mine will shoot cloverleaf groups at 100 yards with factory match ammo.

I'm not a fan of Larue mounts, but their rifles are second to none.

ehhhh, the Tobr's are sick, but out of my price range i'm willing to pay. The Mrs. wouldnt be happy with me if i dropped that on a rifle. 1,700 isnt bad and totally worth it for me.

I'm assuming there TAR's are pretty popular if they're still backlogged on them like a mofo. I'm like super dying to have one ever since i saw em like three years ago but as i said, i wasnt willing to wait all that lead time. Should have just bought it then, and i'd have it now
