if I borrow my brothers BCG (which is identical to mine) and have no issues, then whats the next step?
We are saying the same thing in essence. If it is as you say, I would say your extractor spring is fine. if it felt like a loose tooth, you would know what I mean.

If his entire BCG works fine, then you would know it is your BCG. Then you need to find out what about your BCG is the issue. So try entire BCG first. And then if his works, I would try just swapping the bolts and see if it is an issue with your bolt - most likely the bolt rings then if his bolt in your BCG fires fine.

And/or look into the gas key leak like I talked about testing above with air bubbles and surgical tube. Or the air flow by blocking the barrel at the chamber.

IF his BCG does not work, than it could still be a gas issue. And a slew of other possible things actually. But I would focus on the BCG and testing the options first.

Sorry I could not fix it for you for sure. I wanted to return the help and favor others gave me and help someone with what seemed like a similar issue.
    10 +1 in the chamber
