if you modify and dremel out the pmags for scar 16s...

I know the older pmags requires dremeling out in order to use on the scar 16s.

my question is will they still work on my AR after dremeling out the back piece for my scar?

Need some mag opinions and help...

Also what other mags can i buy to run on my scar without having to modify them?

All USGI mags work. Lancer AWMs are GTG as well.

FNForum has a ton of threads covering this topic.

The gen 3 pmags will work on your SCAR. And of course they work in ARs.

Yes they will still work on your AR. Basically what you did was to make the PMags look like USGIs - that portion of the mags at least

You will be fine if you modify your mags. You would only be removing a small amount of plastic on the top rear of the mag on the left side. You don't need to remove any material on the top of the mag. I modified all my mags on the off chance that they end up in my Scar.

I used a small file to modify mine. Took me about a minute on each mag.

Just use a file and file off a small portion. Lots of threads around on what you need to do.
