    Trijicon Front Sight Post Question

    Hey yall,
Not too long ago I ordered a tritium front sight post from trijicon (part# CP25F). The package that I received contained the front sight post, adjustment tool, and detent...but no spring for the detent. As petty as it seems, I called trijicon to see if it was a proprietary spring (if there is such a thing?) but apparently the sight I ordered doesn't come with a detent spring. So my question is, will any ol' detent spring work? Or does it have to be a spring specifically for that FSP detent?

    Welcome to Calguns.

Maybe somebody that knows about it will chime in.

But in the meantime I'm wondering since you were already on the phone with them, why didn't you ask them directly or just call back? They would be the best source for your answer since they make the dang things.

Anyway, if you do get it up and running post up a pic and tell us if you like it.

    Good luck.

      Thank you!
I've been looking around calguns for a couple years now, just haven't posted before! CG is an awesome forum.

In regards to trijicon, I did ask them and I was told that the spring isn't included FSP. Now that seems a little bit odd to me but hey, I've seen weirder things... I suppose I could just buy a bunch of springs and try them all out, but I was just wondering if someone had a definitive answer. Thank you for the help!!
