Please Help Me Identify This AK47 QD Attachment

    Greetings Folks-

Just DROS my very first AK47. It's a 1960s Polish AK. It has a peculiar attachment on each face of the stock. They appear to be some kind of QD attachments or sling swivel attachments.

I googled AK47 wood stock images but didn't see anything like it. My Google-Fu ain't that great though. Any idea? Thanks in advance!

Here is another milled polish ak with those attachment points, but they don't seem to be used for the sling...
