Update - See Post # 21
Hi All:
Just need some help here. My wife prefers her AR to be a bit shorter. All I can think of is to cut the barrel to 14.5" and have the brake pinned/welded and make sure the length is around 16.1" with the brake.
How much do you think the gunsmith's service would cost? Just need some ideas to see if that is the best route or getting another upper is a better route.
I called one gunsmith and he gave me an estimate of $200. Does that sound reasonable?
TIA!
