Yes, perfectly fine with bb and 30" OAL. Plenty of shops in CA that carry it.

I see Steyr aug is in appendix a. So which is it? If its being sold here than since its technically aug a3 it's legal?

The Aug A3 SA he linked is not on the banned by name list. Take a look at riflegear' site and example. They list the CA compliant versions.
