    siaga 12

after much searching, and yes i did use the search button, I have yet to find good info on the siaga 12. it intrigues me, and I want one for the collection. I contacted mike at lanworld to see if they could get one and this was the response,
    Hello Andrew,

We can do a lot of things but we do not do the Saiga shotguns. They fall under a different classification with the DOJ and a simple bullet button is not a good option for a box feed shotgun. Be careful with those.

Thanks for the kind words and let us know if we can help with anything else.

    Regards,

    Chris Bieling

sooo... i know poeple here have them... how do they get them?

Find one out of state for sale and buy it.

Have it sent to an intermediary FFL, also out of state to install a bullet button. There are some BBs floating around out there for the Saiga12. This is a perfectly legal method of fixing the magazine per CA law.

Have it sent to an FFL in CA who has balls and knows the law. Apparently Chris at LAN World Inc. is missing one or the other or both.

    Enjoy.

      JeffM is correct.

Chris@LANworld is a bit peculiar in some of what he will and won't do - even though the 12276.1PC laws for semiauto shotguns & rifles equivalently use terms 'accept' and 'detachable magazine' (defined in 11CCR5469(a)). Since a BB is good for semiauto rifles, it's good for semiauto shotguns.

Now, why someone wants a Saiga fixed mag shotgun is beyond me as the utility is likely a helluva lot less than a Rem 1100 etc.

Well Bll its like this, someone said we would never get one. Therefore those smarter than I found a way and I jumped in on the group buy.

Why you ask? Bcause we can!

Because Bill, if I owned pre-ban 20rd drums it'd be legal to use them in a fixed mag S-12

I gave up on purchasing a saiga 12 a long time ago. Every vendor I spoke with was either unsure or unwilling to sell those here in Cali even after I informed of the laws and the BB installation.

A buddy of mine ran 3-gun with one.

He found it was faster to reload 10rds, even with the bb, in a mag than to reload singly in the tube. He had his best finish ever, or since.

Imagine what he could have done with a 20 round drum he owned pre 01/00 that didn't come out till this year! He would be LEGEND!

Imagine if he was a LEO and ordered some 20rd drums . . . and then just happened to lose one . . . and you conveniently found it

that is MUCH different than saying you owned one pre-ban

Gunbroker, et all, Forum Marketplaces. Check out the Saiga12 forum, there's usually chatter about who has them in stock.

Some members here have/have had Saiga12 bullet buttons for sale, so maybe post a WTB add for one.

Check with the several out of state FFLs that sponsor and support this site and make rifles CA compliant to see if they will do the same for an S12. CWS comes to mind.

I just got mine within the last week or so, its still in vegas waiting to be shipped into ca but it does have the BB bolted on over the mag release, I was in vegas last week to take it out for a spin and have the work done(install BB) on it. Henderson Defense did the work for me. No other shotgun even comes to the saiga 12, even with the mag lock(well mabey the AA-12, but thats a differnt story)

will post pics when I can log into stupid photobucket
